I never had bad gelato before so not much to say except Hollywood rocks.
Not gonna write much here so enjoy the pix;)
For my gelato I got pear, pistachio and mango. Sooooo refreshing especially on a hot summer day^_^

One I had a Passion Fruit there and love love love it... but went back many times since but they don't have it anymore =(
I think that Hollywood Gelato pales in comparison to Il Gelatiere. It's not bad but I always feel like is kind of like the Baskin Robbins of gelato.
Ouch! However I agree with you about Hollywood as well, Tonya. They do have a better location than Il Gelatiere. Another foodie friend had said that hollywood does make a better fruit gelato than Il Gelatiere but otherwise Il is better.
i like baskin robbins lol so guess Hollywood suits me perfectly fine;)
If you want more traditional flavours then Il Gelatiere is better, true. But I love all of the fun flavours at Hollywood, like Roasted Marshmallow, Key Lime Pie and Banana Brownie. Mmmm, now I really want some gelato.
One flavor that I really like at Il Gelatiere was rice milk base with chocolate covered puffed rice. This is such a great option for lactose intolerant people...not that I'm lactose intolerant. For creativity though I have to give it to Ed's.
