This was the first thing that caught my eye when I entered the restaurant. I was tempted to snatch the plate and run right back out but my stomach whined for real food instead.
Stonefire was pretty dark so I apologize for the quality of the pictures.
The complimentary bread was warm and fluffy.
The grilled calamari came with baby greens, tzatziki and roasted garlic aioli. It was undercooked so we told our waiter who was apologetic and more than happy to bring us another plate. The second time around it was much better and my boyfriend enjoyed it.
We ordered the four seasons pizza which came with tomato sauce, house blend of cheese, prosciutto, wild mushrooms, artichoke hearts and kalamata olives all on top of a basil and herb crust. It was delicious and cheesy good.
My boyfriend had the rack of lamb crusted with mustard and herbs served au jus and a side of garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables. Apparently he enjoyed his dish since he scarfed it down like there was no tomorrow.
I had the veal parmesan. Breaded veal scalloppine, tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese accompanied with linguine alfredo and veggies. It was yummy. The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente and the veal was humongous. That's not just sauce there that whole red pile was the veal itself.
Don't know if you can see how thin the veal was but it was an enormous piece of meat.
